The Best Places to Buy Wine in Bali

Our guide shows you exactly where to buy wine in Bali, so you can easily find your favourite wine at a great price.

Beautiful beaches and brightly coloured cocktails spring to mind when thinking of Bali. But if you prefer a glass of bubbles to a Bacardi, finding your favourite tipple might be a challenge. Finding good wine on the island can be tricky; if and when you do, it’s often horrendously expensive. Heavy taxes, transport costs, and limited local production are just a few reasons why buying wine in Bali hasn’t always been easy – or affordable.

But the popular Indonesian island is moving with the times and answering the call for Bacchus’ brew. Vineyards are beginning to pop up around the island, producing very drinkable wines, along with various wine bars, boutique shops, and online bottle stores.

Whether you’re into Merlot or Malbec, finding your favourite wine in Bali has never been easier! From supermarkets in Seminyak to boutique wine bars and restaurants, here are some of the best places to buy wine in Bali.
